Strange sound, but otherwise almost perfect.

I bought two of these, one 16ft and one 30ft. 16 feet was the ideal length, but a few more feet at 30 feet could have been used. However, I am very happy that I no longer have to charge these cameras. The cable is thin and slides easily through a slot in the fairing, making it almost invisible. I almost didn't have to install any clips. Otherwise, the included clamps worked very well where I needed them. I wish they were brown or black to match the cord. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because there's a weird noise in the audio at the moment. I don't use clay that much, but if I did I wouldn't be able to understand what people are talking about. I suspect it could be the camera, but I didn't have this problem before purchasing and installing these power cords. I haven't shot it, but I agree with another buyer about the fork. I'm worried that it might not be waterproof enough in heavy rain. We just had a very strong storm and I covered the plug just in case. They should have a better design for this IMO. For this reason I prefer the Arlo external adapters, which unfortunately only offer one length. I just couldn't get it to work. I've been using it for about 3 months, no other problems. So happy you don't have to charge anymore. Wait, I already said that. LAUGH OUT LOUD.
