We received this product to use with our Arlo cameras for vacation rentals. Since we don't go there often, we needed a way to charge our cameras. So far they have been connected for 2 months and seem to be going strong. We didn't have any crashes because the cameras rejected them (I worried about that). They were easy to install and keep our system running so we can make sure everything is fine!

It is very easy to run this wire along the aluminum siding of my house and through the window. I did this with 3 Arlo Pro2 cameras. One note: the 2 16ft wires had a better seal where the cable connects to the camera. I'm considering using silicone sealant on the camera connector to prevent rain from getting inside the camera. One of our Arlo cameras was pointed at the road and its battery drained very quickly. Needs to be charged every few days. It was easy to install and changed the world. The camera even seems to work better than on battery power and detects movements faster. It also made this camera a kind of charging station for the whole system. I bought two of these, one 16ft and one 30ft. 16 feet was the ideal length, but a few more feet at 30 feet could have been used. However, I am very happy that I no longer have to charge these cameras. The cable is thin and slides easily through a slot in the fairing, making it almost invisible. I almost didn't have to install any clips. Otherwise, the included clamps worked very well where I needed them. I wish they were brown or black to match the cord. The new cable is sealed at the mini-USB end to ensure a snug, weatherproof fit on the camera. However, the other end of the cable that connects to the power supply has no seal and is still not weatherproof.
