I was looking for a replacement 8" woofer for my Crate BX-15. I have used Pyle speakers for car subwoofers and stereo speakers in the past with good results. I found this as a substitute. I knew it would be good quality. I am not disappointed, the speaker is of excellent quality and finish. Perfect fit for the case I have. Reach and process the low, mid and high frequencies needed for bass guitar. He transformed the combo amp. Mids and highs used to be all I could get. With this came out below. It also cleaned up the mids and highs to improve the overall sound. I stuffed the box and stuffed the hole in it. It changed the sound. No, it doesn't fit in a 12" box, but it fits nicely in an 8" box. .As for delivery and reception, everything went well. Delivered quickly, well packaged, not damaged.
