Difficult to thread strap

I thought they had an old style hook through the hole, then pull and connect under the sliding strap holder. thread the rest of the strap through the slot in the other strap. This is very difficult when I have arthritis in my fingers. it looks good when you finally put it on; and stay safe; colors are good
