As cat owners, we all struggle with the same problem: cat litter outside and around the litter box. I have owned several litter boxes and despite all the mats and shapes and sizes of different litter boxes I have never been able to limit the amount of litter outside the drawer BEFORE... this litter box is amazing. My cat found the entrance to the litter box through the clear flap, of course, but she didn't realize that the flap didn't open to the outside, so she had to use the "roof" exit. She got used to it pretty quickly too. The top of the litter box has a grid to keep dirt from your cat's paws back into the litter box. Some fillers tend to stick to the box, but a gentle shake will push the filler back into the box. The waste bin slides out from the bottom for easy cleaning. My only complaint was with the mounting of the tray. I think I broke some plastic trying to assemble it, but it didn't affect the overall construction. I love this tray and would highly recommend it.
