UPDATE: Don't believe the no questions asked guarantee as stated on the product page. They would not refund my money until they determined the cause of the rust and they only did so after subtly emphasizing the expectation that my review would be edited to a higher score. It was then explained to me why the storage of the brown sugar was likely causing the rust. Okay, then why aren't there any warnings on the product page or product packaging? I would suggest that this strategic absence should create an expectation that their stainless steel is of a high quality to resist rusting from normal use with regular food products. My customer service experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. If they offered a refund immediately with an apology and a note that there are indeed certain foods to avoid, I would happily suggest that they include that information in the product and update my review to share my newfound knowledge and them to give a nice rating. but instead I regret buying one, let alone two, of these sets and I certainly will never do so again. after a few months. I just contacted the company because they say they have no problems, 1 year warranty. If they keep their word I'll upgrade my rating to another star or so because they're cheap and if you don't plan on using them to store food they're still good value for money and functionality Offer. The first picture after scraping the rust off as best I could. External rust didn't bother me.
