Don't use the wrong tool when the right one is incredibly cheap and durable!
I use them A LOT! What I love is that they can be sharpened again and again until I retire (again)! NOT that they get boring easily! My students abuse another set at the store and they go a year between sharpening. Completely natural. Not out of necessity.
