excellent stable and tall stand Good buy

I had this stand in the standard height version and have used it for 4 years with no problems but when I upgraded to 32 inch monitors the leg was not long enough so that I can lift the 32-inch monitor over the open lid of the laptop in my desk. So I bought this higher version. I assembled the stand and attached the mounting plate to the back of each monitor. It comes with hex keys and I think I used my Phillips screwdriver on the base. I found it easier to put a monitor on a stand with a stand when the monitors were on a carpet and use a tape measure to determine how high they should be placed. I then attached a locking hex connector and set the stand upright on the table. After sitting down and positioning myself a bit, I lowered it once to lower it an inch. This stand is technically best for a 27" monitor size, but I was able to mount two 32" monitors with a bit of overlapping bevel. Your positioning options are limited, but it works. The swivel arm wobbles a bit when adjusting, but once installed it works fine. Make sure to keep the weight left/right (it doesn't balance with only 1 monitor) and front/back, but I'm pretty happy with the result. The price was great and the overall build quality was solid. I like it better than the clip on my desk. If I tilt the stand by hand, it doesn't want to fall over. If your 2 monitors have different mounting holes, you may not be able to align the top of the monitors - this type of stand has both arms at the same height. same height and independent adjustment height, probably less than 2.5 cm. There were mounting screws in the box, but my LG and Asus monitors already had the screws. There are also spacers for curved monitors.
