I needed a charger to charge a 12.8V Li-Ion battery (nominal) (LiFePO4 chemistry). I was willing to do a slow charge as I usually have a lot of time between battery requests. So I bought this 6A @ 12V charger which is enough to charge my battery in just under 2 days. Unfortunately, the maximum power is not 6A, but only 1.5A. In the DC charging phase it should be running at 6A but no more than 1.5A. It then stopped charging when my battery reached 13.2V (disconnected from the charger). This means that the battery is about 10% empty of its total capacity! This may be a normal lead-acid battery charger, but if I'm not missing anything, it's definitely not suitable for LiFePO4 Chem batteries.
