Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Enhanced Protection and Precision: Introducing the TOOLIOM Darkening Clamshell Welding Helmet by Keith Gonzales

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very Shocked (in a good way)

Let me start by saying that I have been welding for over 30 years. I've used and bought pretty much every damn mix you can buy, Miller, Jackson, Optrel, SpeedGlass and a few cheaper mixes that didn't meet the requirements. But when I received the TOOLIOM hood today. I was very shocked. I immediately removed the protective films from the lens and let the old lynx run, with this lens hood there was no hesitation. The viewing area is out of this world. Headgear, oh headgear, in all my years of welding, this is without a doubt the most comfortable straight out of the box I've ever used. The weight doesn't seem to be there, it's as light as a regular sanding shield, you almost forget it's hooded. Would I recommend it. To be honest I'm definitely ordering another one just in case lol. I'm not sure, but as a bridge welder you never really know.

Pros
  • Flip Up Design: Convenient adjustment that allows a worker to perform non-welding tasks without removing a hard hat or wearing an optional face shield.
