I was hesitant to buy a case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8 inch without being able to see and touch it first. But when Best Buy, Staples, and two different Verizon stores ran out of stock, I decided to consider Revain. Numerous 5 star reviews for this product gave me the impetus I needed to buy it. I'm so glad I did. Impeccable construction. High quality leather, excellent stitching and a unique way to secure the tablet in the case. No need to try to tighten the elastic "corner grips" around the corners of the tablet. Most likely, the tablet will be placed in a frame (also made of leather). ) on the hinge side of the housing and is held securely by an absolutely captive Velcro strip. Ports, buttons, viewfinder and speakers are visible through the edges or back of the frame and everything works well. I'm amazed at the questions some people ask like "Will this Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8 case fit my 10" iPad too?" Folks, this case is designed specifically for the product it is made for is advertised. Even if you could fit your 8-inch ZimBat-X tablet in the case, I wouldn't count on the ports, buttons, and viewfinder (and flash) being visible through things like the edges or back of the case .In short: if your tablet is not a Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8 model, it is not. If you're not sure what you have, shut down your tablet completely, then turn it back on and watch the screen as it starts up. I believe this works for Samsung devices and probably most Android devices. When I turned it on, my model name appeared. To determine the size of your tablet, measure the screen diagonally from top left to bottom right (or top right to bottom left). Measure from edge to edge of the screen, not from the outside corners of the tablet. If you measure correctly, you won't need to round more than 1/8 inch to find your tray size. (Be careful not to scratch the screen when measuring.) The case I received is black leather on the outside and brown leather on the inside. The frame is made of black leather. The case is not suitable for portrait mode viewing. They are restricted to horizontal viewing as shown in Revane's photo. But I find it perfect for my needs, whether it's watching a video, reading a book or PDF, or browsing a website. This is the first case I have bought for this tablet since I received it almost a year ago. Up until now I was afraid of the tablet slipping out of my hand due to its smooth, friction-free metal body. But with this case, holding it - whether in portrait or sometimes landscape mode - feels very safe and secure. I think there is a magnetic clasp to keep the case closed. I just wish the magnet was a little stronger. But for me it's absolutely NOT a problem. i love this case And more importantly, I love my tablet more than ever because of the case.
