Overview: **Sunshot USB C Magnetic Charger Adapter, Type C 86W Quick Fast Charging Connector Compatible with MacBook, MacBook Pro , Mote Z Google Pixel 2/2XL, Samsung S8/N8** I really liked the old Magsafe power connector on older MacBooks and was a bit disappointed when my new MacBook Pro (2017) didn't offer it. However, this adapter *almost* replaces that functionality. The magnetic Sunshot USB-C adapter works very well - it provides power and also seems to work for connecting accessories to the MBP. (I didn't test all kinds of peripherals, but my keyboard and monitor seemed to work just fine.) The green LED that indicates power is very useful for confirming charging from anywhere in the room. The only issue I have - and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - is that the adapter that plugs into your device's USB-C port is so wide that it plugs into the second USB-C port my MacBook blocked. If they moved the connector to the side just a few millimeters, you could plug it in and still use the second port. Check out my photo to see what I'm talking about. My MBP has two ports on each side so it doesn't get in the way, but it would be nice not to block the second port when using this adapter. If your device only has one port, this is not a problem for you.
