Bought these black and blue leggings for my 11 year old to wear during ski lessons. I was worried it would be too big but I'm happy because it fits him perfectly and covers both his neck and face. He looks good in a boot. It's not very thick (like the thickness of a thick t-shirt) compared to other leggings, but it keeps the wind out of his face when he's going down the mountain, which is the intended purpose. It glides up and down easily, slipping on and off the face as needed. I would recommend for a similar purpose (as described above). We live in Western, North Carolina and ski on artificial snow, which is typically in the 30+ degree range. If you're looking for something thicker, you might want to consider something else.
