Review on πŸ”₯ InRobert DIY Two Ball Bearing Cooling Fan for Zotac GTX 1060 Mini - Boost Video Card Performance by Serotonin Collazo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Protect your Zotac GeForce GTX1060 3GB Mini from inevitable fan failure by replacing it with this part!

If you don't already know, the original fan of the zotac geforce gtx 1060 3GB is prone to failure and the cards will eventually fail quite early. fail. If you're lucky, this will happen while you're right there so you can feel the temperature rise and/or hear the horrible noise the factory fan makes when it fails. I was in the middle of the Heaven test with the maximum settings under heavy overclocking and the fan set to 100% manually. My card was used for about 6 months before it was given to me by a friend. In the event of an error, I immediately left the test, switched off the device and pulled out the card for testing. The fan hardly turned by hand. So I went online and put the card spec in and the inRobert DIY replacement double ball bearing came out and had good reviews. It cost less than $10 and arrived in 1 day. The installation is quite easy. Fan The 3 screw holes match perfectly, the PWM fan connector is the same and the wires are the same color. The only thing you need to do is cut off the portion of the plastic piece that leads the wires away from the fan as it won't sit flush or work otherwise. I noticed that the original Zotac fan had the same modification. Second, note that the fan wiring is significantly longer than the original fan. You only have to wrap the wire once and put it under the radiator, done. works great and I find it spins faster than the original at full speed. At medium speed, the fan is almost silent. Even if your fan is fine, I would buy a spare to have on hand. I was even able to transfer the Zotac sticker from the front of the original replacement fan. Without knowing it, no one would be able to tell the difference.
