Having borrowed one in the past, I was convinced that this mini screwdriver set would be an essential household tool. From assembling Ikea furniture to the occasional home makeover, having a set like this is incredibly useful. As for this particular kit, I think it's reasonable quality for the price, but it's not a "last for life" tool. Firstly the case/holder is of good quality and the clasp works well. The variety of tips included is great and I've been able to find everything I need for 3 projects so far. But even after these 3 projects you may notice some wear on the tips, especially on the more pointed Phillips heads. Magnetism is particularly useful when working with very small screws, and I have found the extension rod very useful when working in hard-to-reach places where you would otherwise have to hold the screwdriver at an angle. While I don't expect this to last forever, overall it would be great for a college student or small apartment dweller who wants a plethora of DIY options without a giant toolbox taking up space.
