fantastic offer! The best for portable audio and video

I highly recommend this product. I'm writing a book that will do a lot of interviews and I've found the microreminder to be a great tool for getting great notes. I was thinking about buying a very expensive digital recorder and when I researched this product and found it on sale for around $30 I thought why not take a chance as I already have an iPod before I've bought a lot spend money on something else. I'm very glad I did. I've conducted over a dozen interviews in noisy restaurants and cafes using the micro reminder without an extra mic. I was very hesitant because I didn't want to do the interview and had problems during or after (like finding out it wasn't recorded!) but I was very happy with the results. In fact, I was surprised at how good the result was! The voices were clear despite a lot of ambient noise during the interview, e.g. B. Background music and conversations from people at adjacent tables, very clear. Everyone who saw this simple setup was very curious and surprised that it worked so well. I was concerned that there would be problems with saving large files like letting it record for a long time, but I recorded for almost 2 hours without pressing PAUSE or RECORD & SAVE and when I finally did, the appeared Recording in full form instantly, ready to listen. My only negative comments are that the recordings are a bit quiet and when I listen to them on my iTunes (they are automatically imported into iTunes when I connect my iPod to my Mac Powerbook) I have to listen to them at full volume which causes this a hum because the sound is amplified so much. That's not a problem for my purposes, but I think if someone were using it to record lectures in a large auditorium, a battery-powered external microphone would help boost the recording volume. I also ordered a Sennheiser ME3 headset and it was a mistake as it didn't work with the iPod at all. I'm very disappointed with this, but I've also been warned that it may not work. Also, the small speaker is an absolute joke, and to hear anything you have to unscrew the iPod all the way and press the speaker to your ear to hear anything. I don't know why they even bothered. The small switch at the bottom, purely mechanical, stiff and clumsy, which is supposed to switch the microphone input to both the line socket and the headset socket, real crap and a complete design flaw. Other people said they had trouble getting it back into place and after playing with it a few times I just left it alone because I didn't want any trouble. I'd like a separate headphone jack so I can listen to a recording, either while I'm making it or for quick testing. it from my iPod over and over again that I don't think it can be good for every device. My iPod froze twice after unplugging this unit and trying to play music, but that's an easy fix (hold down the MENU and SELECT buttons for about 5 seconds until the unit reboots). However, this shocks people. watch me pull my complete recording kit out of my shirt pocket and place it on the table in front of you! People are very surprised that this thing can work so well! I have a 4GB iPod and can easily record 5 hours on the highest recording settings without even using half the storage or battery life! However, this is by far the best deal imaginable! If you already own an iPod, no problem! At least try as I do, and if it doesn't work, move on to something more serious. But I'm very glad I didn't spend a few hundred dollars more when there was such a cheap solution.
