I had to fit vents to my terrible gas cylinders. They are made of brass and have high quality components. O-rings in both shafts and hoods. Lower quality competitors only offered low quality paper gaskets or rubber which fell apart immediately. After installing the vents, I tested them by topping up a few tanks with fuel and they worked beautifully. I intend to order an additional kit for future gas cylinders. I realize these are just valve stems with no Schrader valves, but I don't care. That way I don't have to buy valve core tools or mess with big rubber seals that are good for car wheels but not for gas cylinders. They're not cheap, but they check every box for quality gas cylinder vents.
