Buckle up because it's going to be long. I always see people leaving 1 and 2 star reviews for some products I really like like this one. Finally I decided to read some of them. I've been using this makeup remover for 2 years now and if I didn't I would probably be skeptical seeing the reviews so let me go through the most bad ones. 1.) doesn't clean well / leaves oil behind / needs to be washed after use. Answer: It is a purifying MAKE-UP REMOVER. Facial cleansing follows as this is the next step in skin care after makeup removal. If you read the directions and use the product properly, it will do exactly what it says on the tin - remove all makeup so you can get on with your regular skincare routine. 2.) Smells bad Answer: This is a CLEAR product. It's unscented because that's what's best for your skin. Made without sulfates, parabens and fragrances. It doesn't smell bad, it just doesn't smell like anything. 3.) Doesn't remove mascara/waterproof mascara Answer: THIS IS NOT AN EYE MAKEUP REMOVER. God help us all. This literally talks about makeup removers for the SKIN. All in all, this is a gentle makeup remover that has exfoliating properties, reduces tissue waste, and is great for your skin. A little goes a long way and the bath lasted me over a year. All you need to be successful with this product is common sense, the ability to read and follow simple directions, and a bare minimum of basic skin care routines. If you have sensitive skin, try this to make sure it doesn't bother your skin. But if you don't like this product, before saying how awful it is, make sure you're using it properly. If you use it properly and still don't like it, that's one thing, but expecting it to do what it's not designed to do is unrealistic. You don't get a good makeup remover, eye makeup remover and facial cleanser in one bottle.
