Let me just say I'm a fan of JVC headsets. Wired headphones, I have two of them, have softer tips on each ear. (You don't have to carry the weight of batteries, volume controls, etc.) Since my wallet won't cover the cost of high-end headsets, I found them to be above average for the sub-$20 price point. The only complaint I have (and why I deducted 1 star) is that intermittently when connected to my Chromebook they will momentarily disconnect and if you wait long enough they will reconnect on their own. I just go into the settings and turn it back on. Will it happen with your configuration? Who knows? It's hardly a gamble in this price range. They're great for podcasts, and if you're not too picky, they're great for music too. The options are: spend a lot of money on Sennheiser, Bose, Sony, etc. Or spend some money and get a JVC kit. I'd rather save money and take my wife to dinner somewhere nice.
