Worth every damn penny

This is my first handheld gaming system since the Nintendo Gameboy, and HOLY TASTE I'm glad I couldn't resist. The Legend of Zelda graphics on the system itself are high quality and not some weird sticker peeling off. I am very happy with the way it looks and it only gets better the more I do something with it. At first I was hesitant to buy the 3DS because of the negative 3D reviews I had heard about the 3D. I'm glad I ignored these reviews as I have absolutely no issues with 3D and conversely I'm very impressed with this feature. The slider lets you adjust 3D to a level that's comfortable for you so you don't strain your eyes, and you also have the option to turn it off entirely if you'd like. I'm addicted to SpotPass and StreetPass. Particularities. I actually carry a bag now because I can't leave the house unless I have a 3DS and it's not on in case SpotPass data is downloaded to my system or I meet someone else with StreetPass activated and new Miis in my plaza when i come home i find a new little pleasure in my life. I like that the 3DS can connect to WiFi. First, I went to the Nintendo eShop and downloaded the Netflix app. The selection of games available for download is also great. I love that I can play some of the classic games on the 3DS - sometimes I get nostalgic and really enjoy being able to play the games I loved as a kid again. Backward compatibility with DSi and DS cartridges is also an advantage as huge game libraries already exist for these specific systems. Speaking of games, Ocarina of Time was one of my favorite games on the N64 and I'm skeptical of how well an RP console game will translate to a handheld system. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. The screen is by no means too small for the image. It looks fantastic and the 3D is excellent with it. I love it. I'm still enjoying both the game and the system and have already bought several other games and some accessories and have a ridiculously long wish list. Nintendo won my heart when the NES came out, and our love spark was rekindled with the release of the 3DS.
