Review on Beats Pro Totally Wireless And High-Performance Bluetooth Earphones - Cloud Pink (Renewed) by Haissam Abo Fahd ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

Even while I generally enjoyed the headphones, I can't say they are perfect. As a result, I would give them a 4. There are headphones that offer greater sound, are more affordable, support Apt-X, and have more compact casings. Another factor is that there are no rival SPORTS models. I would definitely suggest the JBL Endurance Peak as a respectable substitute if you have a limited budget. JBL played admirably against the Beats' background when I put them side by side in the store. Certainly, they play less precisely, but they are still extremely thrilling, and they honestly make up for their expense even with less autonomy. JBL, in my opinion, provides better sound for the money spent, but Beats still clearly outperforms JBL on a whole. What else do you have available? Bose SoundSport only appears to be a rival on paper. I wouldn't even think of wearing them while jogging because they don't even stay in my ears when I'm walking. The same holds true for the Sony WF-1000XM3: their form factor makes them probably only appropriate for daily use, but they are absolutely not suitable for sports. I firmly doubt that you can get at least some semblance of quality at a price that is 8–10 times lower with Chinese manufacturers now producing headphones that appear to be identical to the Powerbeats Pro. In essence, I support whatsoever. You can purchase if your budget permits since. However, Beats still has no rivals despite their small flaws. In general, these are good headphones, although I cannot speak highly of them.

Pros
  • True wireless when playing sports is a real buzz, which can only be fully appreciated after running a few years earlier with wired and conditionally wireless BT-headphones. Good fit on the auricle (but not quite good in the ear canal! - more on that in the drawbacks). We may conclude that this is typically the most crucial necessity for running, which is why I purchased tw-headphones with a behind-the-ear headband and in-ear ear pads; Naturally, the package has little impact on subsequent daily use, but this one is really nice! You cannot possibly open a box for the first time without exclaiming, "Wow!" Everything is so well-done and with such attention to detail. For the sake of the packaging alone, one is tempted to purchase these headphones as a gift for one's favorite runner; Although they are marketed as headphones for the iPhone (and the chip comes from Airpods, in case anyone wasn't aware), practically all of their features are compatible with Android handsets, especially Huawei / Honor. (Almost) because there is no Siri, you can't watch the charge without the Beats app, and Apt-X / Apt-X HD isn't supported. Anybody worried about the issue of such compatibility should: A simple click on the circular, logo-adorned button initiates play/pause or picks up/hangs up during an incoming call. The next track is selected with a double click, and the first track is selected by a triple click. Long-held voice assistant (Google, not Siri, for obvious reasons) activated. Alice can definitely be configured in some way, but I haven't played around with it yet. Only volume adjustments can be made with the volume rocker. You can also choose to establish a global or individual adjustment in the phone's settings. It's incredibly helpful because all controls are completely mirrored on both headphones. In any case, the proximity sensor performs as it should; remove the earpiece, and the music stops; replace it, and the music resumes.
Cons
  • Value for the money. The sound is not horrible, but it doesn't appeal to either $250 (the price at the beginning of sales) or even $200, of course (to which the price dropped before the release of Airpods Pro). Despite the fact that I was fortunate enough to purchase them in the United States at a discount, there are many headphones available for the same price that produce considerably more intriguing sounds. I would pick Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless if I were wearing headphones for sound quality rather than for athletics. Thus, it's best to forget that you can purchase superb studio hi-fi headphones for between $200 and $250 in order to avoid disappointment. Yep, you got that right: the sound here is perfectly normal, but you can have a comparable sound over the wire for less than $100. You need to realize that in this case, the form factor, functionality, and marketing are what you pay for in the main. After all, Beats is Apple, with all the ramifications. Although the ears might sound better with Android. Since there isn't an Apt-X in Cupertino, people exclusively plow their own gardens. - Unfortunately, despite the fact that the headphones fit your ears perfectly, the ear cushions do not comfortably rest in the ear canal, which causes the bass and sound isolation to disappear. (By the way, many reviews claim that, unlike Airpods, these Beats perfectly block out outside noise - Nonsense, do not believe it. They mute at 10% power, but the outside world is still audible, which I personally don't enjoy. Foam earplugs are therefore essential for vacuum enthusiasts; - Another drawback was found when running in the cold while wearing a hat (which, incidentally, presses the headphones into your ear and restores the bass): it is annoying that the volume rocker is located on top because you have to reach far under the hat with your index finger, and the ear freezes. Much better would be if the rocker was at the bottom where your thumb could press it without sticking out the cap. But even when wearing gloves and a hat, the round button presses perfectly; I find it annoying that the phone sometimes detects when the ears spontaneously fall off from BT and for some reason does not play the music. Without a case, you're forced to stroll without any music for the entire day. Not that it happened frequently, but it did occur a few times.
