When I first got this charger, I thought it would not work. The manual says about automatic mode but there is no way to select it. It turns out that when the charger is plugged in it defaults to a boost charge rate of 10 amps and then when the battery hits a certain point it resets to a float/float rate of 6/2 amps. One weird thing is when it is first plugged in and running in 10A boost mode it will charge the battery to over 16V but then drop back down to the more normal 13-14V range. None of that will explained in the manual. The quality of the metal body also feels sloppy and the bezel is poorly bonded.
