Review on πŸ₯š West Bend Automatic Electric Cooker: Versatile 7 Egg Cooker, Poacher or Scrambler, 360-Watt, Gray by Holly Bell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Could have been 5 stars

EDIT: Just noticed there is no stamp on the measuring cup. There is no mention of a piercing in the instructions so this is clearly intentional and not a defective cup. It's too cheap, West Bend. Reduce my rating by another star. If you are unfamiliar with egg cookers, they are to eggs what rice cookers are to rice. If you've never used it, you have no idea why you need it; but once you've used it, you won't want to be without it. I bought this particular stove for one reason: it doesn't buzz when the cook cycle is complete. If you need one that buzzes, look elsewhere - they're a dime a dozen. This cooker is almost identical to my previous unbranded Chinese egg cooker, which I really liked, but this one costs $10 more. This product listing mentions at least three times that you can steam scrambled eggs, but it doesn't include a pan that can cook scrambled eggs. (If I were to pick one accessory to sort out, it would be a poacher, not a scrambled egg pan. You can cook 2-3 eggs in a scrambled egg pan, but it's quite difficult to scramble eggs in a tiny little bowl for poachers mugs.) Honestly, If I didn't have my old scrambled egg pan, I would return this unit. Overall this cooker works well, doesn't buzz but is overpriced and the scrambled eggs don't include scrambled eggs. Pan. I'm sorry I can't give it 5 stars - it's actually a nice little oven.
