First off, this unit arrived with a noticeable dent on the front aluminum finish. As disappointing as it was, I decided to keep the unit as it was a hassle to return it. Then I noticed that the door was not rehung. I think I would have spotted this if I had done the right research, but the photos show the hinge attachment points on either side. So one could easily assume that this is the case. The problem is that the controls are built into the door and are upside down when you flip the door. We've had this device for about a week and lost 4 cans of soda in the explosions. Set the thermostat to 35 degrees. My thermometer inside the unit never reads 35. All of the blasts were with cans near the back of the fridge, so maybe you shouldn't stock the shelves all the way to the back? This block is not aligned left to right, but back and forth. So it's not a problem. After all, this thing is terribly loud. Don't put it in the same room as the TV or in another room where you intend to sleep. It's in our kitchen but makes itself felt in every other room. It's much louder than the kitchen fridge. All in all, if I had to do it again, I would take a different route. My last purchase for some reason.
