I have tried the gambit of locking backs, the ones where you pull on the back as you put them on the back of the pin just don't "lock" and THESE DO. Spend the extra couple bucks on these, they are WORTH IT! I couldn't be happier with my purchase, as a pin collector it was always a bummer to lose a favorite while traveling.
