Before ordering I saw pictures of the Carbon Silver color online everywhere I could find it. If you want to know exactly what it looks like, here it is: a mix of silver and dark dirty gold with a slight yellow tinge. It's sealed with some kind of soft, smooth plastic or rubber coating, but it's very thin. On the woven metal surface underneath, you get very few shadows from deep (I was hoping they were thicker). I suspect it will darken over time from sun exposure as the outer case material looks transparent. I didn't see any blue tints in any light. To be honest I'm not too keen on it yet - it looks a bit dirty when you hold it up to my bike. I will update when I install it on the bike and hopefully it will fit better. The thickness of the brake cable and the sheath is normal. Other end caps will fit, although in my case they are a bit loose. No separate rubber/plastic hoses were visible.
