I've been an amateur photographer since the 1960's. I use this strap with a Nikon D5200 with either a 55-300mm kit lens or a Sigma 150-500mm zoom. Together with the Sigma, the camera and lens weigh over 6 pounds. Using a regular foam lined strap, with that weight around my neck, I was ready to pull in half an hour and had a stiff neck due to the lighter combination. On Friday photographing birds and dragonflies I wore a Nikon/Sigma on this strap for three hours without any discomfort in the field. Where has that strap been all my life? It took about 3 minutes from opening the box to using the strap on the camera, including removing the components from the protective plastic bags. It's incredibly easy. In use, I found the belt to be flawless. I hung the camera at waist level and simply raised it to eye level to take the picture. The tape did not interfere with the movement as the slip rings move freely. The strap attaches to the eye of the camera tripod or lens but does not interfere with mounting the camera on my Manfrotto tripod, the strap is still attached. The safety leash and the length adjustment are simply brilliant. I don't recall ever reviewing Revain before but wanted to comment on this belt as I am very impressed. This is amazing value in my opinion. As if that wasn't enough, my package also included an unadvertised lens cloth, a lens cap tether, and an SD card holder. Disclaimer: I'm a male over 70 from Oregon. I have no connection to the seller or Revain other than the end user.
