Update: even more frustrated when for some reason the auto login to the app didn't work, I made 2 attempts to enter the correct password and then was told to wait 5 hours, before I could try again. In the meantime, I try to reach my daughter after school. So I'm reducing my rating from 3 stars to 1 because more than 50% of the time there is an issue that prevents this device from doing its job. We bought it for Christmas to give my 9/10 year old more freedom. this spring - let him ride his bike, go home from school, visit friends. After reading the reviews I knew it wasn't going to be perfect but I thought hey this would be good for what we needed. But it didn't really work. Setup - Setup was pretty easy - we got an extra line for our AT&T data plan and got a SIM card. We were able to connect the watch to the app. But that's when it started to get frustrating. The extremely thin "manual" doesn't explain any of the settings in the app, and since it's translated into English, it took a lot of trial and error to figure it all out. but in the end I set everything up. Then I realized it's not continuous GPS - you can update it every 10 minutes, which will drain the battery in less than a day, or every hour, which is useless if you need to check on, say, your way home from school . Because there's also no way (that I've found) to force a sync or update from the app - you just have to wait the next hour. So we learned through trial and error that it can't last a full day at school and if we forget to charge it at night it will run out of power the next day and then become unusable. Finally we have a problem. while it is connecting and taking calls, I reboot the device from the application. There is a phone book in the app but it's not in the watch so my daughter can't call me and I can't figure out how to fix it - again there's no helpful information in the manual, I've done everything what he speaks. It's not a bad product, but it's not very intuitive (IMHO) and even after reading the reviews and thinking about it, I read the description of the product well enough, I don't think I understood that, although there was a lot There were bells and whistles, they weren't easy to figure out, and there are some basic features that weren't there.
