I really wanted it to live up to my expectations, but alas...a great product idea just needs some work. I suppose it charges easily and quickly, I just plugged it in and forgot about it the day before our hike. As soon as I ripped it open I immediately saw its usefulness on a family/solo hike. I used it to light up our kids' snack/drinks table. I also used it in a children's tent. The light is suitable for camping when you are not using it as the main source. The main problem is that the brightness is very high at the base, but decreases significantly towards the end and becomes dull to the eyes. So I can't give all five stars.
