I have a couple of plastic cabinets with multiple drawers that hold a lot of different screws and other items. The crates are on a deep shelf that provides enough space in front of the cabinets to pull the crate out of the closet if you are looking for a specific item in that crate. I used 36 LED cabinet lights as under cabinet lighting. When I reach for a drawer in one of the closets, the light comes on and I can see what I'm looking for better. Self-adhesive installation made easy. A nearby outlet and a plug-in USB adapter allowed for a persistent connection quite well. It's not as bright as I'd like, but it's perfectly adequate for my needs.
