Easy install but if you've hooked up a few consider a side box series instead so you have more room to cram all the 12/3 wires in there. Otherwise super easy, cut a 4" hole, pop in and you're done. They fit more evenly than old school lights and don't get hot. However, I had to change the switches, some of the older switches don't work with the LEDs, which work very well, and they kept turning off in low light. I'll say that even though it's bright. I've replaced four 3" 50 watt lights with them and no longer need other overhead lighting in rooms as large. as 15x20. Overall pretty cool i will update if they screw it up too soon all those onboard leds are good until they die the only downside really.
