Poor quality - recessed lights

They all flicker. I've used a few different dimmers and the flickering is in the light and not the dimmer. I bought them because they were cheaper, but now it's getting more expensive to buy better headlights and replace them.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Contact seller

Good headlights are best in body and fairing kits

I like the headlights Easy to install and works great with the Luthron dimmer I bought. The reason for the 4 stars is that I received 5,000 bulbs when I ordered 4,000. They are a slightly different color than my existing glass lamps that I already have. Otherwise they are great.

Pros
  • even old fashioned ones can understand
Cons
  • A bit ripped

Non-flat panels.: Housing and fairing kits

Conveniently lightweight and easy to install. When I ordered I didn't realize they weren't flat screens, forcing me to be careful about where to install them. I like flat screens because if I find a bright spot and hit the ceiling, it's no problem if I hit the rafters. Not so much with these.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Transparency

Great Flashlights: Body and Fairing Kits

I used to use Sunco ultra slim flashlights. This is almost the same lantern but with the body attached. They're pretty easy to install - just drill a 4" hole and plug it in. They contain nuts for wires. The ground wire is mysteriously not stripped like the other two wires, but that doesn't matter. They are very bright and fade fairly evenly. I would recommend them.

Good light, weak clamps

I wanted to replace ten 4-inch halogen lamps with LEDs in my living room. I removed the old bracket to install it which was easy. You can immediately see the difference in the amount of light in the room. The problem I have with this light is that the clips are weak and can pop out. I tried moving the wiring in the ceiling to accommodate the light and once that was done the light didn't stay straight. Perhaps this light would have been better with more space in the ceiling, but it was very…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Brighter than expected

Easy install but if you've hooked up a few consider a side box series instead so you have more room to cram all your 12/3 wires in there. Otherwise easy, cut a 4" hole, slip in and you're done. They sit more evenly than old school bulbs and don't get hot. However, I had to change the switches, some of the older switches didn't work well with LEDs, and they switched on low light keeps coming off. As bright as it is, I'll put it this way. I replaced four 3" 50 watt lights with these and don't…

Inexpensive, but for several reasons.

They are good value for a number of reasons. First, the wires are short, the ground wire is only 3 inches long, making the nut difficult to install. Second, only 1/8 to 1/4 inch of the wires are stripped, which is insufficient for a proper wire nut installation. You need to continue stripping the wires, which is very difficult as they are short to begin with. Thirdly, the wire jacket is made of a very hard plastic and does not come off easily, a few strands break off easily. Fourth, I've only…

Excellent quality, easy to install, very bright

I bought 12 packs of these 4 inch LED downlights with integrated junction box. They were very easy to install and came with wire nuts and instructions. They were a bit disappointed with the size of the box as it fitted snugly when I had the 2 pack Romex which came in the daisy chain box. But she came. I plan on getting a dimmer to control the brightness as they are nice and bright. They have a great even pattern and light up my countertop nicely (SEE PICTURE). I will be buying the 6" version…
