These work if you're looking at them primarily for zoom purposes, but since you're paying for the lighting there are some limitations. the glasses will not adequately illuminate the reading pages. When I'm reading, I either have to hold the book or magazine unnaturally close to my face or add extra light to the process. However, I've found them helpful when viewing up close under a car or truck. I give it one star because the left hinge broke in less than three months with normal use. The hinge cannot be repaired or replaced, so the glasses go into the bin. It's now so easy to use a repairable hinge that I don't think there's any justification for such a construction. Great idea poorly executed here.
