Review on 50AA2500 EBL Individual Battery Charging System - Rechargeable Batteries by Eric Crenshaw

These batteries have a good lifespan. I get a lot of playtime without charging my PDA. But the included charger is terrible! It gets so damn hot you could lose more than your batteries and charger if you don't pay close attention to charging! I'm not suggesting you charge all 8 at once. I charged all 8 at once when I first got this and I noticed that it gets insanely hot so I just paid attention and checked from time to time. While observing, I noticed that the batteries are charged unevenly. First, one turned green at one end. I took it off every time they turned green so they wouldn't heat up anymore. It's almost as if each battery is being charged, from the end closest to the cable to the opposite end, until it first charges the battery on the other end and then moves back. I don't know much about chargers, but this thing seems like a terrible way to work.
