Rabbit: 7 years, 11.5 lbs, New Zealand. This is now her number one roost. The high walls also catch any fur she sheds, keeping the area clean. The tray can be easily removed and replaced. We no longer use paper bedding as padding (cleaning up this box was too messy and frankly very wasteful - we've switched to leftover puppy pee pads). Definitely clean every 1-2 days or the poop will get stuck and you'll have to clean more (for comparison, we cleaned her old litter box 1-2 times a week). The brush and tray are fairly flimsy, but they come in handy for picking up poop that falls out when the tray is emptied. I still have a metal spatula to clean the tray. I would buy her again if something happened to her. She's gone back to her old self — attitude and all — since we brought the baby home, and I think that's largely because she has a space to "hide" in while she continues to watch us .
