This was a nice update. My old T500 started to wear out for quite some time. I use it to work with industrial telemetry systems. So I needed something with low power consumption, that doesn't overheat in high ambient temperatures, is fast enough for work and personal use, and has good battery life. So far this car is junk. First add the Power Bridge battery. YES, you can add an internal battery if it is not included with your device. Part number 00NY639. Add it and it just works! A CPU with a low TDP consumes power and runs for a long time. I spend less time charging than my old laptop so I'm very happy with it. Bluetooth is great too. The Bluetooth connection to my headset works great - little interference and better range than the USB dongle on my old laptop. The new rectangular DC connector is also an advantage. It is fixed with a very positive purchase and does not loosen. We'll see how time and wear do with it, but so far it's great. The T560 is an excellent laptop built to last. I plan on working on mine until at least 2025. Hopefully by then we'll have flying cars and our smartphones will replace our laptops. I'm happy at the moment.
