Review on Crankbrothers Men's Flat Pedals: The Perfect Choice for Effortless Cycling by Ted Slaughter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good shoes, short, flexible

Good shoes. Neutral landing. Adjust a little on the short side. I returned my 11.5 to 12 which fit like 11.5. I wanted to keep them as they are comfortable and nice to have boas on flats. But the sole is really flexible. This is based solely on my comparison of the flex in the hand of the shoe and comparing it to a pair of five dozen Freerider Contacts and Pearl Izumi Xalp runs. And walked on the carpet a bit too. The Stamp shoes are very flexible, which I think makes them great for running. But honestly, if you do some pretty big/long rides in a shoe that isn't stiff, it makes itself felt in terms of both strength and fatigue. I can return them and get the top version as I'm more willing to experiment with $120 shoes than $170 shoes. Make sure you test them out on the carpet before keeping them.
