Review on Ultimate Listening Experience with Urbanears Plattan 2 Bluetooth On-Ear Headphone in Black (04092110) by Sang-hoon Lee ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

We understand that a single joystick was chosen to keep costs down and save space, and we're willing to live with it. We are not discerning music fans, but we did all enjoy the sound and none of us has ever possessed Hi-End equipment. You probably won't like these if you're used to using multi-driver headphones that cost 50 tyr. Tzh. We only listen via Bluetooth owing to our busy schedules, so I can't comment on how much better the music is conveyed over the line. Wire, in theory, offers a more flat frequency response. On the other hand, Bluetooth serves our needs just well. Although there is no electronic noise cancellation, the ear plugs do a good job of isolating the wearer's ears from the world around them.

Pros
  • The quality of the sound is actually rather good. They don't fall off during vigorous activity while still remaining comfortably affixed to the wearer's head and ears (I got a set for myself, my wife, and our adult daughter, and we're all pleased with them) (my wife and I train in them at the stadium). You will get the full 30 hours of battery life even with practically constant use. Used as a telephone headset.
Cons
  • It's not always clear how to use the joystick in sports games; it's more natural to treat it as a stick (moving tracks right/left and adjusting the volume up/down) than a button (pause/play/answer calls, long press on/off). You'll need to adjust your behavior, but there will be instances when you can't. Separate buttons with tactile marks would be more practical.
