I have this to connect to my work computer to make it more useful when traveling. Little did I know I would need to attach magnets to the outside of the laptop to get a landscape look. Although I could probably install it on my work computer, I won't because. it is company property. That being said, I wanted to try it in portrait mode and test the colors/utility. The colors are bright and vibrant, love it! It's foldable, lightweight, and fits very well in a laptop bag, making it travel-friendly. It's easy to use, plug and play, and only a slight learning curve to insert/remove from the case. The description images show what appears to be a stand to have it in landscape mode but was not attached to the laptop but there was no stand where I found it. I have other stands (switch stands) that I will use for this, but this is a bit disappointing. As you can see from my photos I left the back at a 90 degree angle and it stayed open but was slightly bent. I installed it on my laptop and it was at the right angle. Note that it occupies 2 ports on your laptop (and if you're like me you're already limited!), one of which is an HDMI port. The instructions are pretty much non-existent. The kit comes with 2 leaves, but the focus is on the assembly of the magnets. There was a QR code that I tried to get instructions (you must use both cables that come with it) and got a 404 not found page. Either update the website to make it work or don't include this information in the packaging. There's a lot to like, but I'd make a different choice if I knew I had to mount it to my laptop/there's no stand to avoid. said magnets.
