Review on RJ9052S New Wayfarer Square Sunglasses for Kids by Ray-Ban by Alejandro Wolf

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Finally wayfarers that fit (just a little bit)

I am a grown man with a narrow head and narrow eyes. As a result, most sunglasses (especially this type) are usually too wide for my face. I bet on this pair after some reviewers claimed they could work on small adult faces. Well I can confirm that this is true. They just fit - it really doesn't get any smaller, I think. The arches extend quite a bit past my ears, and while the lens width is ideal for a 48mm lens, I think my face would benefit if the bridge width was a bit wider (pulling out the tips a bit) or if the tips were even a would be a bit wider. A little is all I need. But in their current form, they sit securely and neatly without causing any discomfort. I just think a slightly more relaxed fit for me would have made them perfect. But other than that they fit my face and because the lenses are polycarbonate and not the adult Wanderers lens, they don't slip off my nose.

Pros
  • I have a small face and they fit perfectly and don't look like little kids glasses.
Cons
  • The small size of the sunglasses may not provide adequate eye coverage.
