Review on Rocelco PDRB Portable Riser Black by Joshua Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for permanent travel; needs the support of the weak side.

I have two and now I have a neat desktop, can move around the house and take it with me on business trips. I had a permanent desk for years, but the switch to business travel meant sitting in conference rooms and hotel rooms for weeks. The light weight and durable bag greatly improves my travel options. The modules are taller than most. I'm 6ft 4in and they were the best for my height while still being wearable. They fit in my hand luggage. Kind of a spatial shift, of course, but it fits the frame and is surprisingly thin. Lost a star in strength due to weak lateral instability. The lifting side is solid, but the opposite side becomes more unsupported the higher the block is lifted. The design would be ideal if it included a weak side stabilizer at full travel. I cut two small PVC pipes to compensate for this. I recommend it to regular travelers who want to endure more. It's not a replacement for a full desk, but it certainly relieves strain on my back and neck when commuting.

Pros
  • COMPACT WORKTOP: 10" x 19" worktop fits most laptops and mice.
Cons
  • Not everything fits
