Sound quality is great - it would be nice to have more control over the subwoofer level, but for the most part it's good. Set up with my TCL 6 series was easy, just plug it in. Connecting to the wireless network was a different matter - the instructions didn't match what was happening on my device. Eventually I got it working, but I honestly don't know how. Audio and video sync issues were a constant concern. To begin with, none of the content matched the Roku interface, and audio was always the lagging part. This was eventually fixed by setting the audio settings to auto pass-through (not on the TCL site, had to find this suggestion on Reddit). When I switched to my Apple TV for HBO max (come on, Roku), I noticed that the issue now exists with Auto Transition enabled. No documentation is available and there doesn't seem to be a way to set up or sync audio and video between the TV and soundbar. It would have been 5 stars otherwise, but the audio timing and lack of information from TCL isn't great. Don't worry if you're thinking about connecting a point or input to an audio input so you can use it for multi-room music. They also add significant latency to Aux or Bluetooth so they don't sync with the rest of your Alexa devices.
