Plastic waste pops up in our news feeds, Facebook feeds, etc. all the time. Finding ways to reduce plastic use is not easy. But when a friend recommended it to me, I realized this is a way to do it. Especially when I heard the stats on how much plastic ends up in our oceans just from dental floss. The first thing I would like to point out is that the plastic that goes into this plastic is a compostable, plant-based "plastic". The glass it's made of. thick, and after 3 months of wearing and spreading, it's still intact, with no cracks. I personally had no problems with the thread falling out. Pull out some excess and wrap it around the food slicer easily and efficiently. The thread itself is amazing. The strong, clean thread will not unravel or become fibrous with use. And the amount of thread you get at once is just amazing. Lasts so long with even the most dedicated floss. I really wish they had a thinner option for people with crowded teeth or kids. So if you're looking for a simple, ethical, and painless way to reduce plastic, this is a great place to start. Highly recommended
