First of all the instructions we got so confused that you couldn't understand. My daughter helped me and she is quite mechanical. We came to the conclusion that we need to think logically ourselves. As a result, I cut out a small section with a hacksaw and everything came out. Then there were small, soft, flexible plastic rings meant to hold the trays in place. They were thin to hold if you put a bottle of shampoo on them. They really stopped for a small, almost empty bottle. When I find my hot glue gun I glue the little plastic rings in place and hope it holds. Right now the bottom shelf (that sits on top of the tub) is holding up the shelf above. When I take it away to use this shampoo it all goes down. It wasn't expensive so I wasn't expecting grandeur but functionality. If you don't like puzzles, you can skip this one.
