I was pleasantly surprised at how solid the stand was for the price. I ended up having to drill a hole in the table as I didn't have enough edge for the clamp and it holds up very well. The steel on the clamps is quite thick, maybe 3/16 inch, and has a good powder coat finish. Monitor mounts fit with no problems. before sinking in, which then makes adjustment more difficult, but at least offers space for 2 Allen keys for later adjustment.
