Review on πŸ“· Pelican 1650 Camera Case With Foam, Black: Ultimate Protection for Your Precious Equipment! by Luis Tuazon

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big. GIGANTIC.

The thing is huge. The size ratio for Pelican crates is usually very conservative in estimating the volume consumed versus the storage provided. But it's a pelican, so how can you not love it? I use it to store all my DeWalt cordless tools, batteries and accessories. One thing about this case that might be off-limits to some is that it's very heavy when empty. You have been warned! This is my first (of many) Pelican case with wheels and a retractable handle. I'm 6ft 4in and it's almost inconvenient for me to use rental luggage products. I usually just carry things by the handle. This is long enough to be useful. Although the material used is very durable, it has a lot of slag. Of course, this does not apply to the rest of the case, but only to the handle. I think you can remove it and just use the short case handle, but then it's difficult to handle. Another thing, I've never seen a Pelican case with all that extra crap on the bottom instead of a handle, but I think it makes sense. It just seems like the entire luggage handle mechanism has fallen victim to hasty or in-house engineers, as it is not very critical to the functionality of the case itself in terms of protection. just a pen.
