I can't stress this enough: DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THESE REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGES! THEY ARE COMPLETE GARBAGE! I'm a student and in the process of printing out some notes on the skeletal system when my original HP toner cartridges eventually decided to fail. Don't worry I thought to myself I'm ready for that because I bought a pack of 4 True Image High Yield Toners and saved a ton of money compared to OEM - how smart am I? Not right. Totally, absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt, WRONG. I knew I had to do a bit of fiddling to remove the chips from my OEM cartridges and put in replacement cartridges. Hey I'm a craftsman and have done a LOT of stuff like this in my life so I have this. Of course, I survived this process just fine, except for the replacement magenta cartridge, which just slipped out again when I put the chip in! The holding guides are not tight enough to hold the chip securely. So imagine me carefully sliding it back into the cradle and carefully - oh so carefully - inserting the replacement toner cartridge into the toner compartment. My printer is WITHOUT that tiny tiny chip falling out somewhere never to be seen again! Well I succeed, I breathe a sigh of relief as I close the toner compartment and then the front door of my printer, no error messages appear. , and I click "Print" on my next page of notes - and I want to cry. It seems like those toner cartridges are a complete fucking joke, except I'm not laughing. Check out the attached picture of the printed page these new toner cartridges gave me! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? How is that even remotely acceptable in ANY world? I run my printer through a few calibration and cleaning cycles, hit the print button again, nothing improved. I'll do it again, print another page, same thing. And guess what? I'm completely out of the 30 day return window so I spent about $150 on THIS crap! So, back to Revain, I'll find another supplier or replace toner cartridges without the ridiculous price of HP and hope and pray they don't rip me off like the True Image junk did! (True picture? Based on what, cataracts?) Do yourself a favor and RUN - run far, run fast and don't look back. Buy something else and save the time, money and hassle associated with those junk toner cartridges!
