It was easy enough to change chips and they provided you with the tools. My chip was a little harder to remove than the instructions said, so maybe they've since made it harder to remove the original HP chips. The print quality of these cartridges appears to be OEM but at a much more attractive price. They fit exactly like the originals but note that you will need to remove and install the HP chip from your old cartridges. This is a little tricky, and I suggest getting a pair of long medical or hobby tweezers (not curved end tweezers for home use), preferably metal, with a serrated inner surface for gripping. The product was difficult to install but I could deal with it if it would save me a ton of money compared to branded printer cartridges.
