Review on πŸ–¨οΈ High-Quality Replacement Toner Cartridge 4-Pack for HP Color Pro M255/MFP M283 Printers by Kevin Pirlet

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Low cost and affordability versus self-doubt

I just replaced the cartridges that came with my HP LaserJet M283 MFP with True Image cartridges. I ordered True Image toner for 2 reasons: 1. HP didn't stock any of the colors (I don't know how they allowed that?) 2. The price of True Image toner cartridges is significantly lower than the OEM price. assuming you're ready for a DIY chip transfer project. I consider myself so skilled that after watching online videos the DIY process seemed doable. Two small questions: 1. Be careful of the orientation of the chip when you move it. As others have written, rotating 180 degrees is easy. Recoverable --- You get a communication error message --- but there is no reminder in the guide. 2. I found the clip holding the chip supplied by True Image to be a problem - the chip doesn't insert very easily - borders on effort; made me wonder if there is a problem. 2 out of 4 clips had this problem. If the print quality is good and they last a long time I will buy again. The price makes up for the inconvenience/fear of replacing the chips yourself. For me these cartridges are a good price.
