I needed a longer LAN cable and figured I'd go CAT8 on any new cables I buy. This one is marked 8 and seems to work just fine. Probably won't know for years and by then, I'll replace them with the next latest and greatest.so.

I was having problems with my appletv 4k. I have it hard wired to my router, and always keep giving me no internet connection, and cutting off my streaming. So i figured that my cable was strangling my bandwidth. This new cable fixed that problem.

Never knew about the cables have data transfer ratings. I upgrade to cat 8 from cat 5 cables. One improvement I notice is connection of wifi is steady then CAT 5 cables. I have three different WiFi routers at home from 300mb, 866MB then 1.1GB. Works well.

Used this for an access point connected to the router to allow for better wifi range and it has worked for months without issue. Though I did not use any of the mounting brackets, they seem to be good quality as well.

I still have to run this through my ceiling to the spare computer but it seems like a good quality cable. The RJ45 connectors may be difficult to attach or detach.

It’s a good cord. I mean, it works, it’s ten feet - it’s a cord. Like, what else can you say about a cord, you know? It’s either good or or bad. Five stars or one star. Get it if you want this kind of cord for cheap. It’s works. Not a lot a person can say about something like cord. I suppose that’s because it’s a cord. Good one though.

Nice, clean design with flat cables and a streamlined, encased head. It also comes with guides that you can mount to your desk (or whatever) so you can hide the cables and zip ties to keep your cables organized.

Upgrading to a cat8 cable helped fix my internet lag issues. This flat wire allowed me to run it between two rooms along the baseboard. So far it seems to be working well. I no longer have any buffering issues on my computer.

Perfect length for connecting peloton bike to modem. Was experiencing buffering issues with Wi-Fi (even though in the same room) and this cable seemed to fix that. No more buffering or interrupted classes!

Liked the fast shipping, and the quality of the cable. Used it to move the modem router to another position across the room from the Fiber to Coaxial to CAT connector. Lost over a hundred Mb of signal on WIFI. Moved Modem back to original position and regained the 200Mb speed. Instead used the Cat 8 cable from the Modem to the ROKU box across the room instead, don't know the speed but streams movies well.

noticeable difference right away in speed of the cables, like a ssd drive vs a hard disk drive on speed.faster delivery on the data from the modem to the pcs, on my ssd drives and even on my hard drivesthere great cables.i bought the smolink orange ends cat8 cables at a higher price and they had little to no difference onspeed. very disappointed in them cables

Tested the speeds via Ethernet and unfortunately got slower speeds. They averaged out under 100mpbs when other cables I tested were able to run 700+. Very disappointing since the flat white cable would have looked a lot nicer.I cannot tell you if the poor results are due to a defectives cable received from this seller. What I can say is according to research Cat 8 doesnt drop off speeds till about 90meters and this one is a littler over half the length, hence the one star review.

Just purchased a Netgear Orbi AX4200 Router/Satellite system and wanted better Cat cable connectivity from my high speed 3.1 Cable Modem to new router and switch. Performed better than expected and the flat cables were easy to work around some tight corners in my media closet. GOOD STUFF!

Been using these a few months now and it's working like it's suppose to. Use it for our gaming consoles, bought 4. We have a wireless network as well, but the internet began having issues, losing internet connection wirelessly. This solved the issue!

This is my second purchase of this ethernet cord. I have had no issues with it and would purchase this brand again, should I need another ethernet cord.

It's simple: I needed to have my computer with an excellent connection, primarily to support virtual meetings with high-quality video, and with this cable, I got it. This chord is still working the way we were hoping. It doesn't go far, though, so I don't know what it would be like to travel all around with it.

I like the sturdy connectors. It would be difficult to break. It snaps on tightly. The cable is high quality and thick indicating how well made and the attention to detail when it was being made.

The cables feel well constructed. Like anything upgrading cables and eventual hardware to be able to handle increased demands of downloading/steaming/gaming. For quality I recommend. Have not tested if this performs better I still need to upgrade modem and speed package to really tell? Lol
